A Forage for a happy soul…..

A Forage for a happy soul…..

It was a normal day, I came back from office tired and lost. Sometimes there is no robust reason to be unhappy but it has become a routine for most of us to curse our current life and remain unhappy. I stay on the 12th floor and I am privileged to have an awesome balcony view with a cup of tea to flush out all garbage thoughts I come across the whole day.

Sometimes all you need is a good cup of tea 🙂 🙂

Sipping my tea, I was checking out small children playing on the ground, some were swimming, some were skating, delightfully taking a plunge into their fantasies. Suddenly it started raining and raindrops started poured my face, yet my vision was intact and so were those little kids. It seemed that raindrops acted as a catalyst and increased their happiness and excitement level. I started cribbing them to have that same feeling.

Within few minutes, completely drenched, I was dancing my hearts out on my latest favorite ‘’DESPACITO”. I got drenched many times before also, but this time rain drops touched my soul J …..

It continued for another half an hour and my dejected innermost self-was healing with each raindrop. Rain stopped but it restored my liveliness and I wondered how easy was it to make myself happy despite all sorrows of life.

A majority of people go their life numb, hating and cursing everything. They simply exist, floating through life. If you suspect that you might be one of the living dead, start examining your life.  Do you notice interesting and beautiful things about life, or do you go through your day like you are a machine, operating on a force of habit and routine?

Forget about your busy day, at least for a second, and try to validate something else. Do whatever makes you happy, be it reading an old comic that you loved in your childhood or sketching your favorite cartoon character.

So Keep trying & keep working on yourself. Remember you have worth. J J
